Sur la 12th Avenue, tout près de Timesquare, se trouve une zone portuaire depuis laquelle on accède au porte-avions Intrepid (musée de la mer, de l'air et de l'espace) et d'autre part à une vue grand angle sur l'Union City. C'est là que je me suis arrêté avant d'aller jouer au billard et au ping-pong chez Lucky Strike : je portais alors une chemise en flanelle à damier jaune et noir et une paire de Free Run 5.0. Inutile de vous rappeler que je ne suis absolument pas fan de running mais il s'avère que j'en ai acheté une paire avant mon départ dans l'optique de courir et que j'apprécie leur confort quand il s'agit de traverser une partie de Manhattan à pieds ! Quant à ma chemise, trouvée chez Defshop, un site multi-marques, j'en suis tout aussi satisfait : je recherchais la même mais en verte et pourtant lorsque je suis tombé sur celle-ci, elle m'a immédiatement plu. En lui ajoutant un noeud papillon, je trouve le rendu simple, élégant et assez discret.
Close to Timesquare on the 12th Avenue there is a port. This is also an access to the Intrepid aircraft carrier ( the sea, air and space museum) and a wide angle view over the Union City. This is where I stopped before playing pool and tennis table at the Lucky Strike center. I wore a yellow flannel shirt and Free Run 5.0 sneakers. Needless to remind you that I am absolutely not a fan of running shoes. I bought a pair before my departure from the perspective of running and I have to confess that I appreciate their comfort when I have to cross a part of Manhattan by walking! As far as my shirt is concerned, I found it on Defshop which is a multi-brand eshop. I was looking for the same in green but when I came across it, it immediately appealed to me. By adding a bow tie, I found the whole outfit quite simple, elegant and discreet.
