Il y a quelques temps, j'ai été contacté pour participer à un projet nommé L P-A-P S, Le Prêt(er)-à-Porter Suédois.  Il s'agit de la création d'une "bibliothèque de vêtements" à Paris, où nous pourrions emprunter quelques pièces par mois, moyennant une adhésion. Il en existe déjà une à Stockholm, Lånegarderoben, alors pourquoi pas une à Paris? Si ce concept  parvenait à se concrétiser, ce serait une opportunité à la fois pour nous, dans la mesure où nous pourrions arrêter de dépenser dans des fringues éphémères;  mais aussi pour la planète étant donné que nous réduirions notre consommation et par-là même la production de masse. Soyons green mais stylé! Le seul hic serait pour celles et ceux qui n'aime pas porter autre chose que du neuf, mais autant dire qu'avec mon addiction au vintage, aucun soucis, d'autant plus que chaque vêtement est envoyé au pressing entre chaque prêt! Parmi les partenaires, il y a trois marques suédoises masculines : Velour, Swedish Hasbeens et Uniforms for the Dedicated. La marque de casques Urbanears participe elle aussi et m'a d'ailleurs offert celui-ci, en denim! J'ai donc testé cette librairie, ce qui me fait un look composé à 40% de pièces empruntées, auxquelles j'ai ajouté deux bijoux, trouvés chez New Tradition. L'idée vous tente?

It consists in creating a “clothing library” in Paris, where you would be able to borrow some items of clothing per month after becoming a member. There is already one in Stockholm, hence why not in Paris ? If the concept became concrete, it would be an opportunity, not only for the potential members, who could stop spending money in ephemeral items; but also for the environment, as it would decrease consumption and therefore mass production. The only snag would be for those who don't like to wear anything else but brand new clothes, but given my addiction for vintage clothes, no worry for me ! Anyhow,  all items are dry cleaned after every loan. Among the partners, there are three Swedish brands for men : Velour, Swedish Hasbeens et Uniforms for the Dedicated. The headphones brand Urbanears is also part of the project, and offered me this one, in denim ! I have thus tried out this library, to create this 40% borrowed items look, to which I have added two pieces of jewelry at New Tradition. What do you think about this concept?
